“Pablito”:
After spending eleven years with the Real Madrid franchise, coach Pablo Laso is a two time Euroleague champion with the club, 2015 & 2018. He also won six Spanish League championships & six Spanish Cups as well as six Spanish Supercup trophies. In 2015 he also added the prestigious FIBA Intercontinental Cup championship and is the winner of countless “Coach of the Year” awards in Spain and Euroleague.
In today’s episode Pablo talked to me about his experience as a the head coach of Real Madrid in preparation for the Final Four as well as preparing the team after a not so good results in Final Fours or Cup Finals. You have to find a way to motivate the guys again and in this podcast he gave countless examples of preparation as well as communicating with the players. We also talked about his experience as a player for Zeljko Obradovic and what he learned from him as well as other topics.
